About O'Shea Farms
For five generations the O'Shea Family have been farming lands on the banks of the river Suir in Ardclone, Piltown, South Kilkenny. O'Shea Farms is today one of the country's leading growers of irish potatoes and carrots, whose reputation for down-to-earth, home grown quality remains wholly unsurpassed.
In the late 1960's John O'Shea, along with his three brothers, became actively involved in the growing of top quality fresh produce. Initially the family produced Milk, Beef, Cereals and a wide variety of potatoes and vegetables.
Today the company is headed by cousins James and TJ O'Shea and now specializes in the production, storage, grading and packing of potatoes and carrots. Over the past 40 years, we have continuously invested in the most up to date storage facilities and we have upgraded our plant, to ensure we have the most advanced grading, washing and packing equipment available. We have also forged strategic relationships with other growers in our catchment area, whereby we store pack and market their produce. We are members of Bord Bia and are fully HACCP compliant.
